在第三讲中我们谈到，两个并列的主语用and连接时，谓语动词用复数。

如：Watching TV and playing computer games are one of the most important children’s leisure activities. (√)

然而，当两个并列主语不用and，而用as well as, in addition, along with, together with, besides等词语连接时，谓语动词要和并列结构前面的主语保持一致。

如：A as well as B，谓语动词要和A保持一致。

比如：The film, as well as three documentaries, is due to come out in June.(√)

在本句中，谓语动词is和film而非documentaries保持一致。

这里的as well as如果改成and，则后面的谓语动词就应该用are。

我们对比一下：

The film, as well as three documentaries, is due to come out in June.(√)

The film and three documentaries are due to come out in June.(√)

两个主语用along with, together with, in addition, besides等词连接时，谓语动词也是要和前面的主语保持一致。

例：Jane, along with like-minded women of her generation, has to create their own rules for success.(√)
